I’ve learned two things about myself that I really didn’t know in my youth. I guess because it didn’t come in the traditional packaging I didn’t give it much attention. Those two joys are writing and teaching; both to me are simply sharing what I do and what I know. I have found great satisfaction in them both. Perhaps its because it is an opportunity to assist others in empowering themselves to stir up and release the treasure that is within. That’s a joy I experience when I teach students and watch them take hold of what I have shared and begin using it effectively.
My initial start in writing was poetry. Simply expressing my heart with what I saw and felt; sometimes funny but mostly inspirational. My husband and I later decided to write an inspirational, action adventure book (Trapped on Kooky Island) for our kids to read. The sequel is due out this year. I also enjoy writing entertaining but uplifting novels for ladies (I’ll post that later). Sorry guys…you are welcome to read them but it was written for the girls. If you visit this site you will also see that I write articles that inspire and encourage people to put their best foot forward in life. So often we hear all the negatives; all the gunk that’s going on in society. Well I believe there are some good things happening too and I want to share the good news with others.
Below are links to the books my husband Tellis and I wrote. You can purchase them in paper back through Amazon or by downloading (eBook) to your computer or reader. I hope you enjoy and I look forward to sharing future writings with you in the not so distant future.
